In My Suitcase: a Packing Guide!

Baggage

My Normal Travel Accoutrements

Large, grey, checked roller bag.
My trusty checked luggage that only has 3 working wheels.
Dark green, 360 roller luggage.
My carry-on that's seen better days.
Black JanSport Agave backpack with many plush keychains.
My school backpack that doubles as my travel companion.
Black, mini Baggu crossbody.
My Baggu cross-body.

Travel Essentials

I never head to the airport without these things.

Black, Sony WH-1000XM5 Headphones covered in various puffy stickers.
My noise-cancelling headphones are a non-negotiable, especially on stressful and overwhelming travel days.
Black KN95 face mask.
A face mask keeps me from catching any nasty bugs en route.
Small pillow in white pillowcase.
I have trouble sleeping away from home whenever I don't have my favorite pillow.
Black, rounded lens, sunglasses from Zenni Optical.
Prescription sunglasses. Fellow glasses wearers will understand.
Black, Converse Chuck Taylors
A pair of comfortable shoes will go a long way, regardless of your destination.

A Defense for the Over-Packer

On one hand there's the overweight baggage fee when you fail to charm the gate agent. But, on the other hand, you have an outfit for every possible scenario and catastrophic weather event. Plus, you have everything handy to supply your scatter-brained sisters with whatever they've left at home!

Risk: high. Reward: also high. Take that as you will. 😉
